Academy in the Library

 

Academy in the Library is designed for students who are serious about completing homework and can work independently and quietly.  If you need to work with a partner or with a group, please remain in your classroom Academy.  Exceptions to this will be made through your teacher and the librarian

 

 

How to get a pass:

• Come to the Library before school, during passing periods, and at lunch to sign up to use the library for Academy.
  No passes will be issued after the 6th period ending bell rings.

• You will get a signed pass from the library staff to show your Academy teacher.

• You will go to your Academy teacher to get your Library Academy pass signed by them.  You will not be allowed in the library without this signature.

Library Staff will meet you at the Library entrance:

• Please hand your pass to the Library staff

• Get your name checked off the sign up sheet by the Library staff

• Sit and use the computer you have been assigned.

• Sit and work alone at the tables. If you need to work as a group or with partners, please stay in one of the Academy classrooms or have a note from your teacher requesting that you work together in the library.
